Refund Policy

1. Free Trial

James Flow offers a 15-day free trial with full access to the Service. No credit card is required. The trial exists so you can evaluate the product before making any financial commitment. We strongly recommend using the trial period to determine if the Service meets your needs.

2. Refund Eligibility

Since we offer a generous free trial, refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. However, we want every customer to be satisfied:

• Within 7 days of first payment: If you subscribed and are not satisfied, contact us within 7 days of your first payment for a full refund. No questions asked.
• After 7 days: Refund requests after 7 days are evaluated individually. We may offer a partial refund or account credit depending on usage and circumstances.
• Renewal charges: If you forgot to cancel and were charged for a renewal, contact us within 48 hours of the charge for a full refund of that renewal period.

3. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, email support@jamesflow.com with your account email and the reason for your request. We aim to respond within 2 business days.

4. Processing

Approved refunds are processed through Paddle, our Merchant of Record. The refund will be returned to your original payment method. Processing time depends on your payment provider, typically 5-10 business days.

5. Cancellation

You can cancel your subscription at any time. After cancellation:

• You retain access to paid features until the end of your current billing period.
• Your data remains accessible. You can export everything via the Config tab.
• After the billing period ends, your account reverts to limited access (local-only, no sync, no AI).

6. Exceptions

Refunds will not be granted in cases of:

• Account termination due to violation of our Terms of Service.
• Abuse of the refund policy (e.g., repeated subscribe-refund cycles).
